Glorious New Hat

Hats, it seems, are not as popular as they once were. Millinery shops are a thing of the past. But sometimes, one can understand why. This piece was inspired by Three Muses theme this week, which is... hats.

The elegant skellie lady is from Itkupilli, other elements from Dover, background text is pages from a vintage German book.

  11. Diane, this is a delicious concoction. What a clever and creative idea to give your picture a Halloween connection. I love it. It's so funny and imaginative. Great artwork.

(PS - believe it or not, I have a daughter-in-law who comes from PA!! She and my son live in London and I live in Western Australia but somehow we manage to catch up every once in a while! They met at Oxford University and have become more English than the English. I don't think anyone could guess where either was born).
